About Us

Baking Machinery Design Co. Inc., now known as KB Systems Inc., was founded by Karl Brunner in 1969. His vision for the baking industry included cost-effective solutions while maintaining ease of operation and convenience. With a background in the engineering and technical service area of the baking industry, Karl viewed mechanical concepts in a much broader sense. He began designing parts to alleviate technical difficulties and mechanized operations, which quickly led to the manufacture, and marketing of his creations. This pioneering spirit became the driving force behind the development of new equipment and later became the foundation to form Baking Machinery Design Company which provides personal service and custom designed systems for specialty and ethnic bakers. Today, KB Systems Inc. has an expanded product line. Due to the ever changing needs of the baking industry, KB Systems continues to invest heavily in research and development to provide the most rugged, versatile, user friendly equipment for food/dough processing yet maintaining the ability for gentle dough handling. State of the art technology, low maintenance, trouble free discharge, and cost effectiveness are all reasons why small baking operations as well as large corporations are choosing KB Systems.
